 Dr. Holmes Scholarship Fund

For nearly 40 years, the Dr. Holmes Scholarship Fund has supported local students pursuing careers in health care. Each year, up to eight scholarships are awarded to applicants from the communities of Elrose, Eatonia, Eston, Kindersley, Brock, and Kyle.

To be eligible, students must apply by September 15th and provide a transcript, proof of full-time enrolment, and references highlighting academics, employment, and volunteer involvement. Recipients are selected based on qualifications and leadership qualities.

The fund was established in honour of Dr. Samuel and Dr. Stewart Holmes, who dedicated their lives to serving the Eston area. Thanks to generous community donations, this legacy continues to help students achieve their goals in health care.

Scholarships may be awarded to the same student on two separate occasions.
