-
Thursday: South of 5th Avenue SW
-
Friday: North of 5th Avenue SW
All carts must be curbside by 7:00 AM on collection day.
Bin Placement Guidelines
Correct bin placement ensures efficient and safe pickup by waste collection services. Please follow these guidelines:
Ideal Placement
-
Place carts on a flat surface at the edge of the curb or alley.
-
Lids must be fully closed; overfilled bins may not be collected.
Common Mistakes That May Prevent Your Bin from Being Emptied
-
Don’t place carts on snowbanks or uneven surfaces.
-
Leave at least 3 feet of clearance on all sides — especially from parked cars or other carts.
-
Do not place carts between closely parked vehicles unless there's 3 feet of space around them.
- Ensure the garbage is not over the weight limit.
Garbage & Recycling Reminders
-
All garbage must be bagged and placed inside the black cart.
-
Loose items or extra bags beside the cart will not be picked up.
-
Carts should be returned to private property after collection to allow for snow removal and road safety.
-
Do not paint, label, or modify your cart.
-
In severe weather, leave your bin curbside; crews will resume service as soon as safe to do so.
