Request for Tender – Electrical Work at Eston Fairgrounds
The Town of Eston is seeking qualified electrical contractors to provide recommendations and complete electrical upgrades at the Eston Fairgrounds. Project Overview: The existing electrical service under the bleachers is insufficient to meet the power demands during events. Breakers are frequently tripping due to multiple vendors and sound equipment being used simultaneously. The Town is looking for a reliable and scalable electrical solution to address both current and future needs.
Scope of Work: Contractors are asked to assess and propose:
1. Permanent Electrical Upgrades
- Evaluate the existing electrical system under the bleachers.
- Recommend and install increased capacity (e.g., additional circuits or upgraded service) to support:
Event vendors
Sound system
General use during high-demand periods/events
2. Temporary Panel Solution
- Provide and install a temporary power panel with a long cord connection to allow flexibility for:
Bands/DJs
Refrigeration/coolers
Other mobile equipment during events
- The temporary panel should ideally draw power from the existing campground service (confirm viability and limitations).
- Include weather-resistant and code-compliant hardware.
3. Recommendations
- Provide a detailed list of recommended solutions and associated costs (materials and labour).
- Include timelines for project completion.
- Identify any permits or inspections that may be required.
Site Location: Eston Fairgrounds – Under Bleacher Area Eston, Saskatchewan

• Proposed timeline for work
• Proof of licensure and insurance
Submission Deadline: September 30, 2025.
This project is intended to be included in the 2026 municipal budget, with the goal of having the work completed by June 2026.

The Town of Eston is requesting tenders for the supply and installation of security cameras at the following municipal facilities: Locations and Camera Requirements
1. Town Office
• One (1) interior camera
2. Water Treatment Plant
• Two (2) interior cameras
3. Swimming Pool
• One (1) exterior camera
4. Public Works Shop
• Two (2) exterior cameras
• One (1) interior camera
5. Rink Facility
• One (2) exterior camera System Requirements
• Cameras must be appropriate for their intended environments (e.g., weather-resistant for outdoor use).
• System must allow for remote viewing and playback.
• Ability to create individual user profiles/access levels:
• Example: Water Operator to access only Water Treatment Plant footage
• CAO to access all cameras across all facilities
• Include information on any required software, licensing, or ongoing costs.
